High Line Park in NYC. One of my favourite places to get an unusual view of the city. Has to include a visit to Chelsea Market and some delicious food to take out and eat in the sunshine.

Candid street portraits is an area that interests me a lot. I think that this is one of my best to date. A combination of elements, rather than a simple portrait. Apparently painting his own face (he isn't), the background 'skull', the processing (classic portrait approach), black and white (a dominant colour in the background would have distracted from the focus on the eye patch).

Body Art is something that appears to be a developing interest. Went to the convention last year and just had to repeat the experience. Not sure what the fascination is. I have no tattoos and no intention of getting any, but I am curios as to why people put themselves through such pain to mark themselves in such a dramatic way.
