Been taking a few of this building lately. Great subject, that is worth looking at in different lighting conditions. This morning the sun was bouncing of the rendered building adjacent that meant that the glass of the curved wall was ultra reflective.

First time for a number of weeks that I've been out with the DSLR. Wander about the centre of the city. Some good shots. Picked up a copy of "The man who shot Gardo, The Holywood Photographs of Clarence Sinclair Bull" for £8 in a second hand bookshop. Brilliant.

Back to the 60s, when jazz, funk and soul seamlessly turned into popular music.

Featuring Subie Coleman’s sultry, soulful singing getting right inside the classy songs that were classics in the sweaty basement clubs and hot dance clubs, Colin Steele leads an exceptional six-strong band. Funky bass and irresistable blues groove, this is great party music for listening and dancing.

The latest window display for LV in Edinburgh. What cought my eye were the vivid reds of the display, the deep shadows, and the mother & child. To be honest, I didn't really see the bag thing until processing.
Could have processed in colour, but the dominance of the reds would have pulled the eye away from the point of focus.

Time really flies by on the way to and from work (35 minute walk) when you are constantly on the lookout. Not only is this making me take shots everyday, I'm constantly mentally framing and cataloging possibilities for another day, when the light and composition may be better.
