is there a sectarian divide in Edinburgh? I always get the impression it is far too middle-class to let such matters intrude on their organic wine and cheese parties (purchased in the Grassmarket of course!) ;)
In answer to your question re Ph.D ... I want to be an English Lecturer and Literary Critic. It's a prerequisite. It's just tough going. Plus I am the sort of person that once I start something I like to see it through ... hence the reason I am a fully qualified Beauty Therapist! Yes, you may roll your eyes!
I am also far too busy biting bullets today to shoot any - so you are fairly safe! ;)
