The companion shot can be found here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/alexanderjblair/4714362017/in/set-72157624101323757/ Treated very slightly differently in that it is B&W whereas this one (though it doesn't look it) is in colour.
You're making it difficult for me now. The problem is that I don't do "constructive criticism". If I like an image, chances are that I will say so. If I don't like it, I shall almost certainly say nothing. But if I say nothing, it doesn't mean I don't like, it just means I have said nothing... What I don't do is say that it think it would be better if you chopped a bit off here or tweaked the colour there. Sorry.
What I will say is that I agree with Jon that this is a terrific shot. Even better than #1 (cropped), which is pretty darn good :-)
SD ~ the only person I like making it difficult for is myself. Can't keep up the no words thing - just not me. Invariably gets me into trouble (e.g. blipsville), but hey-ho that's the way it is and it ain't gonna change. Some words and image after the daily grinde
I love this shot. It has just about everything, composition, texture, tone and huge depth of interest. Excellent!
ReplyDeleteWish it was mine.....
Thanks for the kind words Jon, much appreciated.
