Quiet day of rest. Papers, wander, no camera. Topical image if you can figure it out.
Worth having a look at my link to "After Photography" which in turn links to "WikiLeaks". US troops playing video games for real and using civilians for target practice. Not on the scale of My Lai but still shocking! Americans have arrested the whistleblower (an intelligence officer with a conscience!) and are (according to Saturday's Guardian) on the hunt for the founder of WikiLeaks an Australian by the name of Julian Assange.
Looks like the US oil slick?
ReplyDeleteWatched the video the other day, perhaps the real shocker is the attempted cover-up.
A more modest slick - some diesel in Wick Harbour

They are all at it!
Jon ~ Interesting indeed.
ReplyDeleteWill need to spend some time following this one to see what it’s all about...
... and I thought Blogger/Google was more liberal than a certain ‘be pleasant’ reactionary bunch (when did I become so naive!).
This apparent censorship on the net and elsewhere is becoming a bit worrying (I note Stevie’s moral Apple crusade – and he was once one of the cool guys). Being a child of the 60’s my formative years were very open and liberal (liberating) in every sense of the word. What seems to be happening more and more is a closing down in all sorts of areas. Less self expression, censorship, and a desire to restrict and control ... they can but try!
Another mention? Let it go! Let it go!
ReplyDeleteAnonymous -(kind of sums you up I guess) - posted today, how curious. Continuing to lurk in the shadows I see - clearly your way. "Another mention" - their are likely to be more. "Let it go!" - maybe you should take your own advice. Keep monitoring for mentions of blipfoto. Sad to see MrC got zapped! What one of the reactionary brotherhood was offended this time? Maybe your guys should waste some time to see if I'm around again!
ReplyDeleteHaha. You're funny. Is MrCandidBiscuits in your gang now?
